[[ ha I'm finally off my lazy aft and got to posting >>; ]]
Golden eyes looked out at the harbor, it was early in the morning, the sun had just risen and there was a bored expression across his face. There was absolutely nothing to do. After arriving here in Lanorae Damian had taken his time and studied some of the areas around the port, during his time catching a very awkward colored Shuppet. He went to his belt to pick up his pokeball and just stared at it for a few moments before putting it back at his side. After which he went for his journal noting down his discovery. Though pf course there was always the chance that he wasn't the first to find it, and it was just something rare in this area, though Damian was still learning of this area. He'll learn of everything soon enough.
Now normally, Damian would have been much further than still small town, however he felt that he should probably should train the ghost, and what better way to do so than to start from the beginning? Heck he may even getting a better lead to the Omega Syndicate that he had been looking for. The young teen had been traveling around the reign in hopes of finding something fun, and that was when he herd about them. As well as some activities that they did, to him they all sounded so trilling. The excitement seemed wonderful to a point where he wanted to join. Although despite his search he has so far gotten no where. Well he might as well continue on, not like things were going to get done by just standing around.
[[ Bad post, still trying to get used to this character >>; ]]

ooc: As I mentioned in Lillith's induction thread, wanted to get Kanaye's post layout/profile image finished before I replied to these, but it's taking too long with school and what not and you guys have been waiting long enough xD
bic: Evidence of the Omega Syndicate's activities could generally be found anywhere in the region should someone actually bother to look close enough. At least, evidence that the organization may have liked someone to find. Baiting provided an excellent opportunity to draw in individuals that may have been searching for the elusive headquarters of the resident organization, and once they were baited, it was easy enough for certain members to keep tabs on such people up-to-date.
Damian was no exception. In some ways, it was frightening just how much could be found out with the proper amount of digging. Present location, place of origin, name... the Syndicate could easily manipulate any information on their present targets in any way they saw fit. Of course... the team could become violent if necessary. Some people who had gotten a bit too close had a tendency to disappear, but when it came to the aspect of joining... well, some members never really had much of a problem in locating their potential recruits.
The tall man who was partially obscured in the shadows of a nearby building was strange-looking without a doubt, though his attire and general appearance did have a noticeable tendency to blend in with the crowds that tended to flood from the docks. Perhaps he had a bit of an uncomfortable aura about the way he held himself, or the cool smirk that was fixed upon his lips, but unless someone was utterly familiar with the more notable members of the Omega Syndicate, not many would have probably paid him a second glance so close to a location such as the harbour.
Of course, Kanaye's gaze hadn't left their focus on Damian since the male had gotten into his sights. He lacked the Luxray that was his characteristic "partner" in this case, but the fact that there were so many witnesses would have made his normal tactics utilizing the electrical beast to relatively obsolete. No, he would have to take a different approach in this case.
His smirk was tugged into a grin as he pushed himself from his position, a glint in his eyes as he walked rapidly forward, easily dodging any befuddled sailor or individual that happened to stumble into his path. His long, dark coat billowed about his ankles, his normal silence in his gait abolished by the constant tinkling of the chains that adorned his person as he regarded any attempt to keep his walk silent to be pointless.
He paused only as he drew near enough for a hissing whisper to be heard on his lips, a cool chuckle accompanying it. "Well well... hello, Damian." [/blockquote]

[[ Post layout actually would have been cool xD and grrr to this small writing it be so far to read! >< ]]
The young trainer continued to look out at sea as he thought over his next move. After all it would have been stupid to just leave and just randomly go some where. A small yawn escaped his lip unaware there had been someone staring at him the entire time. However that was when his ears began picking up the sound of rattling chains. That was odd, who would carry chain in a harbor, nor was it very common for individuals to where it. Well through his experience it wasn't like he had met everyone in the world.
"Well well... hello, Damian." A cool voice whispered, causing the teen to turn his head back. His expression at first seemed a bit cold as he cast his gaze on him. Although any normal teenager might have been frighten by a large man in a dark coat behind them who already knew their name, and possible more. Especially when that man also carried a creepy grin across his face. However Damian wasn't easily frighten he knew how to fight, and he had a few pokemon to use. They of course still needed much more training however they would have had to due for now if worse came to worst.
The distrusting look was soon replace with Damain's natural, arrogant smile as he fianlly replied after taking a moment to judge the man, "And allo Satan," he couldn't help but say with a chuckle as he finally turned his body so that his left side was facing the elder man, his hands going up so his thumbs could be in his pocket and his right hand closer to his pokeballs. There was just something about him that Damian felt he should be cautious around. "Now zen, do you have some business wiz me," his expression grew a tad more serious, "Or are ye here just to waste my time?" he asked so they can get to the point as to why the man was here.
[[ fail accent but oh well xD ]]

An obvious expression of amusement crossed Kanaye's face at the name "Satan" for a moment. He wasn't going to deny that this boy's quick-wit was something he found to his liking, at least provided he kept it in line. He had enough experience with pranksters that didn't allow a single word that wasn't some jibe escape their mouths, and that in itself was far more irritating to him than anything else. Needless to say, he was generally upon those same individuals at the first small mistake they made.
And recruits always made mistakes. Always. It was only the ones he could tolerate that he chose to overlook.
"A... business offer, you could say," Kanaye kept the same cool tone, his voice still hardly more than a whisper. "One which, from what my sources say, you may be interested in pursuing. Or, well, I would recommend it. I don't take refusal well." He glanced around for a moment, his lips tugging into a small scowl as a stray sailor brushed roughly against him. Under any other circumstance, judging by the way his pale fist was abruptly clenched, he would have taken the opportunity to release a sharp jab to the man's face, though as it were, there were too many witnesses.
"Follow me. I don't enjoy doing business in these crowds."
The way he spoke seemed to indicate more of an order than a request as he turned abruptly on his heel and slipped smoothly through the rest of the crowd, back to his original position where he pause for just a moment before slipping into the shadows of an alley between two small warehouses.

[[Gasp a post! after *counts* 7 months! xD but I understand your busyness lets see if my skills haven;t entirely died out]]
"A... business offer, you could say. One which, from what my sources say, you may be interested in pursuing. Or, well, I would recommend it. I don't take refusal well." "Oh really?" Damian seemed to question with great interest, still looking at the elder man with his usual smug look that he carried around. It seemed to falter slightly as he gave him a questionable look with the whole 'don't take refusal well' statement. 'Control freak,' he thought in somewhat of a sing song voice in his head as he watched the sailor walk by after he had brushed against him roughly. It didn't go unnoticed by the young teen the clenching fist from the elder man.
"Follow me. I don't enjoy doing business in these crowds." Oh yes, because common sense always says that going with a seemingly violent man as a good idea. Yeah normally in these types of situations it screamed kidnapper alert. However Damian was curious, after all from what he had heard the syndicate came to you not the other way around, and this could be his chance and like hell if he was going to skip it. He followed the stranger through the crowed, and to the alley, "So just what is this offer you have?" the young man questioned as he waited an answer his hand still near his pokeballs if needed.

ooc Lol, I know, right? xD I figured it's about time I get some people moving along. I'm still working on some things, but at least roleplaying keeps people occupied x3
bic If Damian was worried about Kanaye himself being a potential kidnapper, it was an unfounded fear. It was true the Syndicate admin had shown a few distinct signs of being a relatively rough man, though abduction was never really on his agenda. He had other associates for that. Anyway, he found it much easier to just dispose of annoyances in a more permanent manner. Fortunately, considering he hadn't pulled out any sort of weapon, he seemed to have not deemed Damian enough of a pest to merit such action.
His dark eyes flickered back to the crowd as Damian approached, cautiously surveying the mass of population in a way that seemed to tell he was ensuring they wouldn't be overheard. Satisfied, he turned to answer the new recruit's question. "As you may have guessed, should you have enough sense to research this region, I am a member of the Omega Syndicate," he started, grimacing slightly to himself at the idea of the introduction. It was a waste of time, yet for whatever reason he had always deemed it a bit of a necessity if the recruit he had tracked down didn't display an obvious knowledge of his position immediately.
"I am a representative you could say. Though, should you accept, I am also your superior," his expression turned suddenly cold. "I expect full loyalty, and there are many ex-members who would vouch for that. Well, providing you can get dead men to talk." A dark chuckle.
He leaned absently against the wooden exterior wall of the building, flicking a few locks of his long, dark hair away from his eyes as he did so. "You can leave now without consequence, provided you keep silent about this meeting, though, if you wish otherwise I am extending an offer of membership. You have shown traits we find somewhat desirable."
He paused there, his gaze focused, unblinking, on the younger man before him.

[[Very cool x3 so do you have a pic of him yet?]]
"As you may have guessed, should you have enough sense to research this region, I am a member of the Omega Syndicate," 'Figured as much,' Damian thought to himself as he continued to listen, ignoring the grimace when he introduced himself. Though there couldn't help but be a bit of wonder behind it, did he not like the introduction, but then why did it matter other than saying he was from the organization he didn't even give anything about himself. Eh oh well he probably shouldn't be thinking about it too much. After all it was just a simple introduction. Though the whole 'first impressions are everything' did come to mind.
A bit of an annoyed expression crossed his face as the whole 'I'm your superior' that was the only down side about joining this organization. Well any organization really. Damian wasn't one for rules, regulations, and superiors to listen to orders from. Frag he ran away to be a free spirit. However the whole sense of danger was what bought his interest. He kept the annoyed look rather than going back to his smug look when the man's expression became cold and the 'joke' about making dead men talk was out, 'Lunatic...' he thought to himself still staying quite.
"You can leave now without consequence, provided you keep silent about this meeting, though, if you wish otherwise I am extending an offer of membership. You have shown traits we find somewhat desirable." "Now why would I wanna leave? Sounds like a fun offer, sir" he said the sir part was kind of obvious that it was forced out. He may not like the idea of it, however he did want to join to bring more entertainment in his life.
