Adele calmly dusted herself off and picked up her bag. The idiots hadn't had to be so rough. Really, she'd just stowed away, it wasn't as though she'd set a bomb on the boat (although, after that rude kick-off, she wanted to). She sent the already retreating boat a glare. When she'd been discovered, they'd decided to stop at the nearest port and toss her off. Literally. Brainless muscle. She'd almost made the ticket price, but 'almost' wasn't good enough. So she'd stowed away. Turns out people didn't like that too much, and so here she found herself, who knows where.
She rolled her eyes and walked down the dock, inhaling deeply. This was the freshest air she'd had for two days. The people giving her odd looks were ignored. So what if they didn't see a teen tossed off a boat every day? She didn't have two heads or anything; no reason to stare.
It seemed from what she could hear on the dock she was in 'Lanorae', wherever the heck that was. But, this Konika Village had a lab, from what Adele could hear. And that sounded like a good place to go to the girl. This town was small, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. And there was some sort of luck in her to get tossed off here, the perfect place to start a journey. This was the kind of place she'd been hoping to reach, when she'd decided to become a pokemon trainer. She wasn't going back to that academy, no matter what, so traveling had sounded much better. Hell had sounded much better.
It didn't matter that Adele had no idea where she was going, since she definitely walked like she did. Her confident strides carried her through the town, eyes roving across the buildings. Did labs have a specific feel? Or look? It was too much to ask for a big neon sign, though that might help. And Adele was going to find it herself, or how else was she going to travel in this region?
The large building looked out of place amongst the smaller houses and stores of the village. It didn't take a genius to figure it was probably the lab. Along with the sprawling fields behind, where Adele's eyes could see various pokemon, it made her fairly certain this was the place. Her steps up to the double doors ahd an almost imperceptible bounce to them, her shoes thumping lightly on the wooden steps, and her lips twirked up in her signature smirk/smile. She paused in front of the doors, and decided to knock. Better to start off polite, she thought, her knuckles rapping on the wooden door.

OoC:// I AM SO VERY SORRY FOR THE DELAY. Please don't murder me and dump my body in the river. I don't like to swim. D,= Thank you for your patience~
BiC:// It had been a quiet day in the lab. Little Pokemon action, any and all experiments went well, and few trainers had passed though. Whether the latter was because few ships were scheduled to dock that day or simply because not so many kids wanted to become trainers was unclear. It was also possible that people would rather prefer to travel in a more modern society that used less steam power and more electricity and satellite. Whatever the reason, James Friestien found himself with tons of time on his hands. The aide could usually be found sleeping when he was supposed to be working on something or otherwise goofing off, leading one to believe that a day like this was a golden opportunity for him... But if there was nothing to make trouble with, where was the fun? Idly, the aide looked around and shuffled through some papers. He couldn't even be productive, as awful as the word sounded to him; everything was done. Sighing, he leaned back in his chair and propped his feet on his desk. When in doubt, it was time to sleep. He had just shut his eyes and gotten comfortable, when...
knock knock knock
"Oh, now they show up," James caught himself grumbling, but he shook off the bad mood in an instant. After all, at least now there was something to occupy him until the end of his shift. Stiff at first, the aide stretched while he walked to the door and answered it calmly. The girl at the door was... a bit more than a surprise to him, namely because of her hair. How many colors were in there? What was she thinking? If he ever caught his little niece, Angela, doing such a thing... Oh man. It was going to go down. Nevertheless, the aide put on a friendly smile and invited Adele inside. "Hey there, nice of you to drop by. Welcome to Professor Aspen's Lab, the best in all of Lanorae. She's not in right now, but I'll be glad to help you out. The desk says 'James Friestien,' but you can call me Jim." [/color]
