What's this? A new contest Ayra? Why, yes it is =3 This is the first of many which are going to be gradually introduced -- member of the month, character of the moment, spriting, ect. to name a few. Under normal circumstances, the protocol for this contest would be that nominations are sent to me, then there would be voting and such, however, for the first honourary one I wanted to do this on my own because I feel there is someone that really deserves it hands down.

I would be nowhere without any of my mods, they all contribute and aide to the best of their abilities and it's a well-known fact that Lanorae wouldn't be anywhere without them. Everyone on the team has contributed in some way, and they all deserve this position. However, there can only be one at a time. Therefore, I would like to award the first staff of the month award to:

Yes, she is a friend a know in real life, but that's not the reason she was chosen this time around. Even before she was promoted to moderator status, Andi has been doing everything in her power to make sure the site stays up and running. Back when I was on that major hiatus, she approached me and asked for my permission to mod threads even without the official title, which I gave to her, and upon my return she was officially promoted.

She has since been a very active moderator, despite the fact our school piles workload upon workload on us -- and she has a job to boot while I don't -- and she's never let me down when I asked her to do something. Not only that, she's a great friend, and always has something to say to cheer someone up. Not to mention her bouts of hyperness on the cbox are amusing, I dare anyone to disagree that one =P

For that reason and many more, I would like to award Andi with the October 2009 Staff of the Month status, and with it, these prizes. Fortunately, the Pokemon in this case was really easy to pick x3

wow, i forgot all about this particular contest. needless to say, if i had, i'd have known that andi was going to win. when ayra disappeared for a while, everyone (especially me) got really lazy, and andi kept on modding threads, occasionally asking me to modify someone's money (and i'm not sure why that didn't guilt me into modding tbh)

anyway, to sum it up, andi is a much better mod than i've been on lanorae and i was on kanoa combined ^^
