hair, wade has thick, dark blond hair, gradually growing darker near the roots. he keeps it a little long, seeing as that gives him the pleasure of styling it any way he would like. from spiking it to parting it, sleek-looking to looking like he rolled out of bed and decided he looked decent. wade enjoys messing with his own hair and manages to come up with a different hairstyle nearly every day.
as do all men, wade has hair growing on his face as well, and it really depends on his mood if he shaves it or not. he doen't look too bad with facial hair, and is known for frequently trying to grow a mustache, beard or goatee. he usually shaves them right off, however, declaring that he got bored of it and that 'face-hair should grow faster'. it isn't all that uncommon for the male to have some stubble on his chin and cheeks, though, as wade believes it gives him a rough, bad-boy look which he quite appreciates.
eyes, wade has amber-ish brown eyes, more often than not rather bloodshot. still, the male's eyes always seem to sparkle with some sort of optimism and a hint of mischieviousness; he's really just a big kid after all. in overall, especially compared to lilian carbunkle or professor aspen, wade has rather plain, simple-coloured eyes. he is, however, capable of pulling off quite the puppy-dog look and more than once got his way with his female colleauges or got out of a boring assignment by giving them a cute, pleading look. of course, though, wade would never really use it to his advantage... most of the time, anyway.
build, while stocky or athletic probably aren't the best words to describe wade's build with, the male strives to keep his body in the best condition he can possibly manage. while usually covered by layers of clothing, muscles are subtly outlined on wade's skin. he can certainly be classified as having a masculine body, and obviously isn't a pushover; wade's body is built more for strenght rather than speed.
clothing, probably one of the most casual dressers inside the laboratory of konika village, if it wasn't for his lab coat, people would never suspect wade wilson of working somewhere science-y. the man has a variety of shirts in his closet, most of them rather brightly coloured. his preference lies with button up shirts, as he is seen wearing those most of the time. he hardly ever bothers with actually buttoning them all the way up. wade leaves his shirts hanging open most of the time, wearing a simple t-shirt underneath. on the rare occassion he does button up his shirt, he leaves the top couple of buttons undone; most of the time this also means he doesn't wear any kind of shirt underneath - too many layers on a hot day, really. his pants are always jeans, faded and ripped a little as wade likes the vintage look, draping over the top of his converse sneakers.
as all employees at the laboratory, wade wears a labcoat when he's working, 'w. wilson' embroided on the left side of his chest. most of the time, wade leaves his coat completely unbuttoned, if he choses to wear it at all; needless to say, when he's out doing fieldwork, wade leaves his labcoat back at the lab.

a kind soul if there ever was one. wade is the kind of goofy moron that doesn't need to even try to get people to like him; all he generally does is smile and stumble over his own feet, and presto. he's a very gentle person and easily concerned for other people's wellbeing, and he isn't afraid to inquire about how you feel and help you feel even better. he studied to be a paediatrician, so yeah, it fits him.[/td][/tr]
of course, a study like that requires one to be very knowledgable, which wade thankfully is. he's intelligent enough, though he somtimes has moments in which people do wonder what the hell he's doing or thinking; wade sometimes has the habit of drifting off and be completely oblivious about everything around him.
wade has a rougher, tougher side to him, mainly 'thanks to' serving in the sedonah military and losing his wife so soon after marrying her. he's still haunted by both cordelia's passing and the time he spent in the army and has days on which he just gets really cranky because he's bothered by the memories. he tends to get quite snappy when either experience is brought up in a conversation or even midly hinted at. generally wade ignores the question or even the person who asked or started about it and continues what he was doing, with a very audible, sour tone to his voice. he just doesn't like talking about it, is all.
since cordelia's passing, wade developed a mild drinking habit. he manages to tone it down considerably when he's working or has to work the following day, but he more than just enjoys a couple of beers over the course of a day. it quite startles him how much a person can be dependant of a certain substance, like nicotine or alcohol in his case, and has multiple times attempted to drop the habit only to find himself with a beer bottle in hand a day or two after. wade has since then accepted the habit as a part of his being and has better control over it now that he has. still, after a bad day it isn't uncommon for his colleagues to find him sleeping his hangover off on his desk.

wade was born in a wartorn sedonah, a region west of orre that has never really known lasting peace. his mother passed away shorty after his birth, leaving the boy in the care of his aunt and uncle; his father was a military officer like his father before him, and thus had more important matters to attend to than raising a child.[/td][/tr][/table][/blockquote]
the boy grew up in decevine city, a large metropolis in one of the quieter provinces of sedonah and attended to school there. wade grew up with nothing but love and adoration for his father despite rarely ever seeing the man, and when he was a young boy wished for nothing more than to follow in his father's footsteps by joining the sedonah army. wade proved a very intelligent student and almost leisurely cruised through his school carreer, enlisting himself once he graduated highschool at eighteen.
much to his father's delight, wade was accepted into the army. he first served in and around decevine where he studied medicine, and after six years he moved to the more dangerous areas of the region to help care for the wounded and injured soldiers of the sedonah army. the things he witnessed down there haunt wade still; all the brave men and women he just couldn't save even though he tried made the young man retire at age twenty four.
fearing to be viewed as a disgrace by his father, wade took his aunt and uncle out of sedonah and with him to lanorae. the 'family' took a little while adjusting to the new environment and the difference in technology, but roughly half a year later wade as already in school, to specialize himself in child healthcare. while there, wade met and slowly became infatuated with fellow paediatrician cordelia whistler. the young woman returned his feelings and the two were married when wade was twenty-six.
wade learned plenty from his wife; she aimed to incorporate pokémon into helping children recover or at least temporarily forget about their illness. the two traveled across various regions to test their theory, in which process wade caught a fair share of pokémon for himself and learned more and more about them. during their travels, the couple also came across a young girl that would later become wade's best friend and confidante, miss serenity logan.
what wade hadn't known about his best friend, was that serenity had ties to the infamous omega syndicate from lanorae. she wasn't exactly in high places within the organisation, but she was enough of a nuisance to have people want to get rid of her. serenity was out with cordelia at the time when an assasination took place; unfortunately the intended target survived, at the cost of cordelia's life. wade grieved the loss of his wife and vowed to eventually get his revenge at whoever murdered her; serenity was 'smart' enough to keep her mouth shut about her secret identity, but helped her friend nevertheless by avenging the death of his wife for him.
after inheriting cordelia's pokémon, wade travelled back to lanorae and lost contact with serenity in the process. with only cordelia's pokémon to count on, the man spent a couple of months working in a hospital before being approached by professor aspen, requesting his assistance at her pokémon laboratory.
