Poképark is an extremely large expanse of land that branches off from the main Trainer Square, which is accessable through the main information building of the park. Inside the lobby of the building, many pictures of the park itself and also the creators of the Pokémon paradise, John and Helga Winegartner, who were two rather well known Pokémon rangers in their younger years. Now they have settled nicely into retirement and focus mainly on conducting new additions to their greatest accomplishment.
Situated the center of the lobby is a large water fountain, which is adorned by statues of numerous water Pokémon such as Buizel and Krabby accompanied by the occasional Dratini, and decorating the bottom of the pool are numerous coins thrown in by visitors to the park, mainly little kids hoping to have a wish granted by doing so.
For most people this fountain serves as a meeting center before trainers leave their Pokémon in the care of the park workers, which, unfortunately, does confirm that trainers are not permitted in the areas beyond the gates. As the Winegartner's have always wished, Poképark is a safe haven for Pokémon and Pokémon alone to relax among their own kind, away from the troubles of the human world.
However, even with the relaxed setup of the park, like most other areas, Poképark does have its own regulations, which are visibly posted on a bulletin board on the far wall.
Attention All Visitors! Welcome to Poképark, a safe relaxation center for Pokémon of all kinds! You can be sure that your Pokémon will enjoy its stay here in the park, away from the troubles of the unnatural [to them] human world. The park beyond the gates is built to suit just about every habitat, however, we do request that you do not enter the park without the accompaniment of Poképark personnel!
- Trainers are not permitted past the gates to the actual park, this is to keep the environment as natural as possible for the Pokémon inside. However, if it is absolutely necessary you enter you must be with one of the park rangers.
- Feel free to get to know other trainers that are leaving their Pokémon here for a short break by making a thread in the main forum [the one this post is located in], please do not post in the sub-boards as a trainer!
- All areas in Poképark have their own rules and descriptions, make sure you read those regulations before you post in that specific area.
- Poképark is an extra locations, therefore any Pokémon here is still usable in your main journey.
Thank you for visiting Pokepark, have a nice day.
