Terrence's eyes continued to look upon the thin sheet of paper he held in his hands. Scribbles inhabited the sheet, but it all was meaningful. A few days prior to where he was now, he was in a black van, traveling the roads of Lanorae in conversation with a member of Team Diamond. Now, he has found himself before their building.
The terror in his heart was minimum, there was no building that could ever ignite fear similar to seeing dead bodies. The boy crumbled the piece of paper and inserted it right into his left pocket. His hands rubbed together as he prepared to begin his destiny. It was awfully sad that this was the road he had chosen, becoming a statistic in life. The statistics who go down a road of crime after having a deadbeat father.
Darkness shrouded the fellow as he walked a linear path into the laboratory. A flickering light above, illuminated the area sporadically. The best lighting did not come from above, but from the tanks of lime green liquid which seemed common in this area. The young man was at a lost of actions, not knowing what to do or where to turn. He did what any teenager would do, call for help. "Hello!?"

A growl responded to the cry. A sound that seemed to resemble the threatening sound of a predator warning its prey, coupled with the crackling sound of electricity. A short maw opened, revealing pointed fangs as the creature rose smoothly to its feet, eyes glimmering with anticipation. Maybe this time the arrival was prey. Prey it could feel, hunt, consume... yes.
Nostrils flared as the creature slowly lowered its lithe bulk back to the ground, tail lashing as its fur pricked up with electricity. The human was alone. So very alone. The first mistake the second mistake the fool made. The first was that he had wandered into his territory to begin with.
A loud roar escaped the Luxray's throat, its fur flaring to like with the brilliant, white-yellow light of crackling electricity to serve as a warning before the large feline suddenly leaped, teeth bared and claws extended --
Only to be halted by a swift grip of a human hand upon the scruff of his neck that brough his paws back to the ground and a look of fury to his features. Who had dared to halt his hunt, to interfere with such a natural process as taking down his prey. Electricity sparked along his legs as the Luxray turned to face who had dared, eyes narrowed in a fierce glare, only to fall submissive as the Pokemon recognized the individual who had halted him.
The only human that could dare to halt him.
Seeing his Luxray fall into submission, Kanaye released his grip on the creature, during his dark gaze to the human that had almost fallen prey to the electric lion's unsheathed claws. "What do you want..." he snarled, his pale features livid and alive. "Speak quickly. I'm sure my friend here will be more than happy to resume his hunt at the faintest indication he can, so I hope you choose the right answer... Oh, perhaps I don't. He hasn't been able to really chase down anything lately."
A rather frightening, cruel grin crossed the man's features at that, his eyes glimmering darkly. [/blockquote]
