I saw Alkaline Trio at a music festival earlier this year. I like one or two of the songs, I think it's called "The Metro"? Anyway I'm not really a fan but there are definitely bands that are worse. They did the whole "dress up in black and red suits" thing on stage and I'm like *facepalm*. Yeah just thought I'd comment on that.

But yeah as for the actual picture, that looks amazing, especially the stained glass thing or whatever it is in the background. XD All I did was write Ray's name in text and make it glow a bit. This is something cool, I like it.

Ooh, that's really cool! And Alkaline Trio. My fried tried to get me into them. They're okay, but I've got other stuff I'd rather listen to. =P BUT ANYWAY. Wow, major Alkaline Trio dissage. Have to say, though, I'm really not fond of their live perfomances -- never seen them live, but youtube didn't show anything interesting. I actually only like the stuff from Crimson, and that song Mercy Me was just too darn catchy to not utilize. ANYWAY.

So. The nice swirly brushes I went to download hate my computer, and the ones I make are all wobbly because I've lost my stylus and am on a laptop. Therefore... It is rather plain. I could put more into it, I suppose, but I figured since it's pretty much crap anyway, I'd just show yall what I've got. So... Since you said you didn't need one (and I /did/ have fun with it), I didn't mess with lyrics unless you're interested.

And Andi, what short of colors/text/feel? I'm up to make more, if you're not scared by the lame-ness of the above image.

Yay! I gets a cool banner too~! And they're not lame or anything, I really like them. =3 UHHH. Well, the name's Andi Carly. I'd say make it colorful. Primarily purples and golds, but if you want to color vomit, go right ahead! It needs to be playful. Cheerful. Loud. Know what I mean? As for the text... either (or both, if possible!) of these adjacent lines from a Kimya Dawson song, Tire Swing. (For those who might recognize it, it was in Juno.)

Yeah, sounds like a plan. I'll probably be able to get it done soon, but... Did you have any fonts in mind? There are so many out there that fit the description that I'm having a hard time choosing.

Dafont.com has a bunch of nice fonts if you wanted to bother taking a look, and if not... I'll totally wing it.

;__; Finally got my lazy butt around to doing this. Anyway. This post is a test at the moment, to see how the transparency of different colors works on the forum.

AKA, this is still a work in progress, and I probably won't even use the font in the image I'm about to post -- unless, of course, you want it? Blar, I just wanted to make sure the colors didn't come out all wonky on the blue skin, at least.

Here are a few variations of what I came up with, but I'm not sure if any are what you were looking for. Please, you know, slap my wrist and point me in the right direction -- I'd like to make something nice, lolz.

Lol, nevermind, I'm not done working on this. I think I like the gold/yellow for the text better, after all. And these seem a little subdued. I have some cool scribbly arrow brushes that I can use that seem to sort of go with the lyrics -- in my opinion.
