Hello and welcome to the official Lanoare Plot Discussion Thread! New-and-excited moderator Andi residing. This is where you can come together with others and talk about the latest tablet, discovery, or whatnot in the "Into the Abyss" plot currently going on. Whether it's how much you adore Rob, what you think the lost city entails (or perhaps how it became lost in the first place), or whether you think these "new Pokemon" are friends - or foe. Don't be shy, step right up and let us know what you think!
And, being the ever-talkative person you all know (or will soon know) me to be, I'll kick things off. First of all: CARTER, NOOOO. Things do not look good for him, and this depresses me. The guy seems nice, and clearly is devoted to what he does. The world doesn't have enough of people like that anymore. D=
Also, going off of what I said before, I don't know how friendly these new Pokémon are. Maybe it's just the dark coloration that makes me feel like they're dodgy... but who knows.
Finally, Rob = Love.
Let me know what you think!

First off, thanks again for starting this, Andi~
And second, it seems Rob is the favourite character so far ;D Woohoo, makes you wonder why the smart-alecs are always popular, no?
And I'm pleased to say that tablet two is now up =3 There seems to be someone else involved in this little research escapade, but who could it possibly be? Good or evil? Hmmm.... hm hm hm...
Also, if anyone ever has any questions, feel free to ask them here as well =3 I know this chapter in particular may be a bit confusing as it's covering three different viewpoints, but yeah~
Enjoy! [/blockquote]

Just read the second tablet. Awesome! It's so... mysterious. It tells you the right amount. Not so much that you can guess stuff, but enough to leave you guessing anyway. It could go in so many different ways! Carter might die, he could discover a lost city... then die... or not... or be turned into something which would be random... or maybe that ol' Wailord'll come XD
But, yeah. Cool. 0.0 What do you think'll happen to Carter?

The first thing I'd initially thought of after reading Tablet Two was the movie Vantage Point. Basically, a bunch of people seeing the same stuff from different locations. Good movie, watch it nao.
Anyways, at this point, I think Carter will be about dead, but miraculously, something saves him, and he wakes up from a state of zero consciousness on the shore of what I believe is called "Abyss Island." He has no way of getting back, and then we get into a much-better remake of Lost with only one dude. It's better because, uhh, Pokemon. And Ayra made it, so it can't be bad!... I think. And it goes from there.
Anyways, no dead guy... Yet. *distant, evil laughterfication*

VANTAGE POINT = EPIC WIN. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Nottt even kidding. Listen to Cool and go see it.
I dunno. I think Carter's gonna get saved. Maybe it's just because I like him too much, and I watched The Little Mermaid too much as a child. Not as much as Rob, though. GUH HUH <3333. The second tablet only made it worse better for me. With his description and the string thing and... ! Guhhh. Can I go to homecoming with HIM? And Jakar. And-! *Shot*
Final note: New dude with blue-eyed Pokémon that I can't remember the name of gives me the creeps. He needs to go fall in the ocean and drown. Take Carter's place. Yeah, that works.

I likes Cooljma's explanation. Freaky Lost + Pokemon remake FTW!
*ahem* So, I totally think we need to see some abyssal pokemon in the next tablet. 'Cause they're AWESOMESAUCE, yo. Or, at the very least, a Wailord. Or maybe there could be a giant Sharpedo who eats the sub... So... Jonah + Jaws? Eh.
Wonderfully written, I must add. (:

Andi, wouldn't that make Carter evil? At least, if this really is evil. I think he's just plain demented, though. Thank you, Quill. And yes, if we use Jaws, all I can say is "The more random references and possibly shameless plugs, the better." Hmm? Anyone in agreeance? If there's a Wailord, I demand it be this one. Credit to Jake of Kanoa.

First off. Skitty Wailords scare me..... Second! Tablets 1- (-0) -2 ARE AWESOME! I like the parts where.... THE WHOLE THING! It paints a very movie like picture in my head. Maybe we could send this in to make a movie... Ayra is an awesome writer and needs to make Tablet 3- soon or I will die of anticipation.

First off - Vantage Point was rubbish. It was good at the start, but they could have cut it down to twenty minutes if they didn't show the first part of the movie with the President making the speech again and again.
Second, nice writing Ayra. I'm liking this story a lot. I'll have to read it again, the unknown people are a bit confusing but I was sort of skimming over the words so I'll have to read it in a bit more depth.
Third, I don't like any of the characters. They're all annoying. Except maybe Mike, he hasn't done anything yet. XD

Oh my goodness. You have insulted my taste in movies. I am offended. In fact, I am so offended that I'm not talking to you for five minutes.
...
...
Has it been five minutes yet? I hope so, because I feel like talking again. =P UM. I suppose I can see where you're coming from with Vantage Point, and it did get kind of ridonkulous at some points, but I thought it was good overall. It kept me on the edge of my seat, you know. All that jazz. UM. Anyway. Onto the actual point of the thread.
Unknown characters: Evil, or misunderstood? Off the bat, I saw them as the bad guys, I mean, if they want Carter out of the way, then of course I'll get mad. But that's just protagonist portrayal. Right now, we know Carter, Rob, Lula, and Mike (?) to be the good guys, and Mr. Big and Frightening, I-Have-A-Big-Blue-Eyed-Pokemon-That's-Gonna-Squish-You as the bad guys. I dunno. Trying not to see things so... black and white. Maybe almost like... What's a reference everyone would know? Well. Kinda like... Team Magma/Aqua. This is a really bad comparison, mind you, since I'm totally lost for an analogy. But how Aqua/Magma was just kind of misunderstood. Except for the fact that they were like "Forgive me!" in the end because what they did was catastrophic. I don't think that'll happen here.
Aaaaah, that was bad. I'll try to think of a better comparison and come back. In the meantime, HOUSE LOVE! <3 Buh huh.

Long ago the city fell, long ago the scriptures tell, light and shadow did combine, real and mystic did entwine.
Did the ancient souls awaken, a beast who's duty undertaken, forever protect the ancient tomb, forever allow the secrets loom.

Roses are red Violets are Blue
Then what the hell is Violet Ayra made a poem So I'mma make one too.
So, uh, is this poem you made supposed to be like the ancient legend in poetry form, and the Carters and Robs and Lulas and Mikes decided to read it and figure out what it meant and then go have a beach party on Abyss Island, where they would ultimately find the secret to immortality the legend? 'Cause that's the vibe I'm getting. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually I was hoping some beautiful, ancient poke-morph will save Carter from dying and shows him the tablet. Then they find parts of Ayra's poem. OR We could use Jonah and the whale somewhere here. Only Carter and The Wailord XDDD lol. Oh, another lot random ideas: There is a secret race of pokemorphs and they make him one of them (small avatar reference). Romance between Rob and Lula but Mike likes Lula (love triangle!). Also I have a really horrible addition to Ayra's poem (Yay! XD) Alas these secrets will be taken, Despite the beast and it's duty undertaken, The ancient souls shall deserve their fate, Save thy self now before it's too late. [/center] Yes, it's worse than Ayra's but leave me alone. I'm a new kid. XD
