Miu was walking down the path to the Lab. It seem to be a nice warm day out, and the Persian part of the girl wanted to laze around in the sun, but she didn't have time for it. She need to get a pokemon partner that could help do some research. But of course, Miu has to gather the courage to actually talk to a human. She only met one, which was her foster mother, Toni, yet she wanted to meet more of them.
Her cream tail twitched slightly in thought, what would she do, when she meets this Professor? What if someone was here before her, how would she interact with them? Her ears flatten against her head and began to bite at her furred thumb. Now she was getting nervous about it, but she had go through with it, if she wants to make it through this region.
Finally she made it to the door of the Lab. This was it, she gave a deep breath and exhaled. She lifted up her paw-like hand and knocked on the door. Then she waited.

"...Great," he mumbled, his attention drawn to the door. He really needed to find that missing Pokémon, but it was his duty to help new trainers with choosing their Starter Pokémon. And, seeing that, most of the time, it were soon-to-be trainers knocking on the door... It didn't take all that long for Charlie to reach the door and open it, revealing a...Persian girl standing there? Okay, that was, uhm...new. "Uh, w-welcome to the Laboratory of Professor Aspen," Charlie stuttered, "The Professor isn't in right now, so I'll be helping you out. I'm Charlie," After his brief introduction, the male took a step back and held the door, allowing Miu entrance. "Please, do come in,"[/ul]

Miu began to twirled her thumbs around nervously before the door opened. It revealed a young man, who looked surprised by her appearance. There must not be many of her kind here in this region. Her tail tip flicked slightly in a nervous fashion as the male began to speak to her, introducing himself. "Um. Nice to meet you Charlie. I'm Miu." she said back at him. It might not be much, but it was a good start to get over her shyness.
The male said that the Professor wasn't in right now, but h could help her get a pokemon still. He stepped to the side to let her in and she stepped inside. The lab was quite large on the inside and was rather neat. Ask she looked around in awe she almost forgot why she was here. "Um... What pokemon do you have to offer here?" she asked him.

," " Firecub," "and Seaward. They're of the Grass, Fire and Water type respectively," Charlie then flipped the page, revealing the images of four different Pokémon. After clearing his throat (Man, a glass of water would've been nice right now), he began introducing those, too. "We also have Ekans," " Natu," " Growlithe," "And finally, Glameow," With his explenation finished, Charlie closed the flyer and held it out for Miu to take. "You can have the folder, if you wanna look things over again. And you can ask me anything you want, I'll try to help you out as good as I can,"[/ul]

Miu watched as he began to look for something in a large pile of paper on the desk. As he did that the girl looked back over to the bookshelf. It seem to be filled with many interesting books and she wanted to looked through them all. There could be an unbelievable amount of info in those texts, that could be about pokemon. She needed to know more, because of what she wants to be later on in life, a Researcher. But maybe should should gather that information herself, out on the field.
She snapped back into reality as Charlie handed out a sheet of paper. She hoped that he didn't notice her spacing out right then as he spoke. She to scan through the starters as he pointed them out. The native pokemon were interested, of course they were the normal pokemon types that Labs start off with.
The first was a grass dinosaur that was called Iglora. Grass was normally the easier of the other two to train. Miu would like to have one of them, since she never had experience of handling pokemon before. Next, there was the fire lion cub pokemon called Firecub. Miu instantly became interested in the feline pokemon, as he tail twitched excitedly. Fire was the hardest to train out of the three, but Miu think she could handle a feline pokemon. Maybe she should get this one, but she had to see about the others. The last native was the water serpent Seaward. Water was like intermediate of the starters and a water pokemon can help with getting across large bodies of water when she came across some.
Then he turned the page and showed all the other pokemon that was available if she didn't want a starter. They seem to be of the more common type of pokemon. Maybe she could find out in the routes. She looked them over and decided she didn't want none of them, she'll get a native pokemon, but which? The Firecub and Iglora caught her interest, but it was hard to choose. Maybe a meeting with both of these pokemon would help her decide.
"Umm.. I'm rather stuck on choosing between two of these pokemon, the Iglora and Firecub. Is it okay if I see them out here? It'll help a lot." she asked looking p from the paper that Charlie handed to her. "If not, could you give me your opinion on the two pokemon?"

' Quietly, Charlie then approached the many cabinets that were placed against the wall, looking them all over as he tried to remember which one was the right one, before deciding on just opening the doors and see what was behind them. Thankfully, he got the right cabinet straight away; after opening the doors, shelves filled with Pokéballs were revealed, the shelf with the Firecubs missing one Pokéball. A somewhat triumphant smile curving his lips, the Aide took a Pokéball containing an Iglora and returned back to Miu, the orb in hand. "It seems that there should be a Firecub running around the Lab somewhere. They know how to sneak up on their prey from birth, which would explain why I haven't found it yet," he explained, cheeks slightly red with embarassment, "But maybe it will come out if we release the Iglora," That said, the Pokéball was opened and the bright, red light that exploded from it soon revealed a tiny, diosaur-like creature, it's scales of a tan color with green splotches on it's back, tail, ears and paws. The Iglora curiously examined it's surroundings before aiming it's attention at the Persian 'Morph in front of it, tilting it's head rather confused. Was this it's new owner? Meanwhile, something stirred underneath one of the cabinets in the room; a sign that Charlie might have been right, after all...[/ul]

When she mention the pokemon she wanted to see, the boy seem to look nervous. He finally revealed that he had lost a pokemon and didn't know which one it was.
The morph waited as Charlie went to get the pokemon. He came back with a pokeball, rather happy. It seems that the one that she wanted to look at, the Firecub was stalking around the lab. So it seems that letting out the grass type, The green and brown dino looked at her with a weird look on it's face. One of those pokemon that never met a morph either. Miu gave a mental sigh, it was going to be hard to get others to get use to her being around. Pokemon and Humans.
She tried to touch the Iglora with her soft, dark padded hand on it's head, petting it. "Hello...." she said in a soft greeting. As she did this, her ear twitched slightly as she picked up the noise of something make a clumsy move. The Firecub was trying to stalk it's prey. Maybe in a few minutes it will try to reveal itself.

OoC. Alright, I'm gonna try to avoid using Liz' character seeing it's, yeah, her's xD Lets see if I can pull that off.
BiC. The Iglora seemed to make some sort of chirping noise as Miu's hand came in contact with its scaled head, almost jump in response to the touch, but it soon settled down again with a content croon. It tilted its head, regarding the Pokemorph with curious crimson eyes. It had never seen a person that looked almost Pokemon before. It was almost a nice change, it a way, to be petted by someone that seemed to have fur rather than that warm, fleshy substance most humans possessed on their hands.
However, it almost seemed as if a fiery light was flickering from beneath one of the cabinets. Well, it was certainly a good thing that said cabinet seemed to be flame retardent, otherwise the small, fiery creature beneath it would have already consumed it by now. Emerald eyes could be seen glowing in the bright light, and small, beige paws were slowly easing their way out from beneath the cabinet.
There was a sudden flurry of movement, and a small, orange cat-like creature slipped out from beneath with a loud yowl as it ran forward and attempted to pounce on the Iglora that had been pretty much oblivious to the fire Pokemon until this moment. However, it suddenly tripped and stumbled over its overlarge paws, rolling to a stop with an irritated mewl that really did not fit the large cat it resembled.
Sending a glare in the Iglora's direction as it jumped away from the fiery Pokemon, the Firecub looked up at Miu with a small, curious purr as it righted itself on its paws. [/blockquote]

Miu heard that the dino gave a wary chirp and felt the small jump from it also, like it was startle. She almost withdrew her paw-like hand from it, but it began to calm down, getting use to her touch. The feline-morph gave a small smile, glad that the pokemon didn't run away or was aggressive towards her.
Being busy with the Iglora, she didn't see the flame that became visible among the wooden cabinets. That was until a yowl sounded and ears perked at the sudden noise. The teen looked up quickly to see a orange color cat, making its way over to the grass dino in a pounce attempt. Only for it to be a failure as it tripped over it over-sized paws, tumbling to a stop next to it's 'prey', before it leaped away from Miu.
The Persian girl let out an amused purr herself at the little one's antics. It reminded her of herself when she was younger. Somehow getting herself in trouble and being playful. But all of that went away when she left her home and went out into the world, a place where some others don't treat you kindly just because you where different. She felt relaxed around the little feline, maybe it was a cat thing? The little cub seem to look at her with a curious glance as well.
Now was the time to picked between the two pokemon.... This was going to be hard... The Iglora seem to be startled easily, yet it calmed down after getting use to her, perhaps alittle timid. The Firecub seem to be brave, stalking bigger prey than it. "I guess I'll go with the Firecub... If it's okay..." she told the Aide.
