"How about I try for a Water?" Sarah was talking to herself again.
Why not? It kept her busy and let her avoid boredom. It came quickly as she tried to find the small village of Konika. A gust of cool wind whipped past her face, dragging her brown hair to her right. A hint of the sea breeze licked her nose.
The stinky boat that was suppose to drop her off at Konika Village halted suddenly near someplace that wasn't Konika Village and kicked her off, thus, causing the young and clueless girl no directions. Sarah vowed she would someday teach that stupid boatman a lesson of not to drop of a female anywhere but where she was suppose to be dropped off. Oh, why did her father had to leave before she did.
Now the fresh scent of the grasslands filled her nose with a welcoming spice. Grass and trees blanketed the earth and clouds clouded the sky. The sun was still not seen from her view, but a stream of dim light shafted though a thick, big cloud, so it was still there. The call of a Starly echoed in the sky. Sarah felt earth Pokemon scuttle though the shrubs and trees, watching her every move, hiding in... maybe fear?
"Nah, maybe a Grass," Sarah replied to herself, remembering the cute Bulbasaur her best friend, only friend, actually, had.
Suddenly, Sarah halted. The grass no long crunched under her shoes. She just heard another noise. It was the low cries of the water hitting against the shore. Could she be closer to Konika Village? Or is it the water behind her. Whatever it was, Sarah picked up her pace. Soon, the air was filled with noise, little noise, though. It was rather peaceful, not like in her hometown. The rush of water was heard again.
Sarah suddenly stopped, and a broad smile played on her face. She was staring down at a small town on the edge of the sea. There were a few houses located in the town, all low, except the one large building that sat beside the shore. Anyone could have made out that one. The lab!
"Konika Village!" came the delighted and relieved cry from the excited female. Finally, she didn't felt lost since the moment the boat left her. Loudly, Sarah tripped down the hill towards the village and the sea glittering beyond it.
{ooc. Suckish, eh? xD

[ O u t of C h a r a c t e r ] Nah, it was fine ^^
"Professor Aspen! Professor? Oh, where'd you get off to..." a young woman sighed, pushing a few locks of her teal-coloured hair back behind her ears as she walked, rather uneasily at that, down the dirt path. The reason for her unsteady gait was soon recognizable if one would look at what she was even wearing. High-heeled boots adorned her feet, which was probably what you wanted to wear the least to a beach town, and a long white lab coat was layered on over her black t-shirt and a pair of simple blue jeans.
As it appeared, it seemed that this woman was a lab aide judging by the coat she had on, and a pair of half-moon glasses were situated low on her nose in front of bright teal eyes. She had a bit of an annoyed look about her, calling out yet again for a 'Professor Aspen'. The woman suddenly paused, putting her hands on her slim hips and tossing her head so her long ponytail fell from her shoulder and instead hung down her back. She fixed her gaze skyward, calling up at a small speck that seemed to be hovering above. "You see her anywhere, Song? Or do you think she ran off again like she always does? I couldn't get a thing out of Kiana or Ria like always..."
She sighed as she put her forehead in the palm of her hand, shaking it slightly. The speck that was above loosed a loud screech and suddenly began to grow larger before it suddenly landed heavily on the woman's shoulder. The 'speck' apparently was actually a brightly coloured bird, with a curious shaped head that looked rather similar to a music note. Anyway familiar with Pokemon identification would have recognized the creature as a Chatot, a parrot Pokemon, and it seemed that this particular one belonged to the oddly-dressed woman.
"Konika Village!"
Almost immediately the woman looked up at the cry. Yes, yes of course it was Konika Village! What else would it be? Really what other village was home to the great and currently absent Professor Aspen? However, almost immediately upon identifying where the shout had come from, the woman broke off into a run, which caused her Chatot to loose his footing and fall off her shoulder.
"Hey! Hey you're going to hurt yourself!" she called loudly, before adding in a mutter, "People need to learn to go slowly down that hill, almost everyone trips it seems..." She paused at the foot of the hill, trying to figure out where the girl had ended up. "Hey, where are you? You alright?"

Sarah couldn't stop herself as she stumbled down the small hillside. Suddenly, she heard a call. It was a female's voice ringing through the air. It said something of hurting herself. Was that voice talking to her?
Almost instantly, her foot missed a step and she was really tumbling down the hill like an uneven soccer ball. Well, she mainly skidded down on her back, somehow, but whatever... The back side of her shirt caught the grass and dirt as she slid down, almost squealing. Sarah tried to plant her feet somewhere to stop, but grass and earth were flung at her face, so she was busy with that.
When she managed to slow down was when her reached the bottom, well, duh. Groaning, the young girl picked herself up, flinging off dirt caught in the cloth of her shirt and skirt. What she didn't pay attention to was her messed up hair and shoes. Well, it wasn't like she ever cared of them anyway.
Removing her cap from her head, Sarah slapped it against her leg, dusting off soil and grass bits clinging on the rim. It didn't take her long to find a young woman nearby. She wore a long white coat over her black shirt and blue jeans. Place on her feet were high-heel boots, something Sarah would wince when she saw. Her teal-colored hair flinging to one side as a gust of wind flew past. She was calling out.
"Hey, where are you? You alright?" came the voice again, only this time, Sarah knew who it belonged to.
"Um, over here?" Sarah replied rather weakly. Actually, she wasn't sure that was a question that needed an answer or not, but she answered anyway. "And, um, I'm okay, I guess. It's nothing, really. I've had worse falls and trippings."
"I guess next time I'll be sure not to be too hyper when I find a town or city..."

[ O u t of C h a r a c t e r ] Sorry for the wait, haven't been feeling my best.

The tall woman immediately looked in the direction of the return call, adjusting her half-moon glasses as she tried to pinpoint exactly where the girl had landed. Taking a few steps to the right the young girl immediately came into view, and the teal haired woman hurried to her side a considerable look of worry present on her features despite the girl having said she was fine.
Instead the woman reached into one of the large pockets of her lab coat, withdrawing a small roll of bandages and fixing the girl with a rather strong stare. "You're absolutely sure you're alright and don't have any cuts anywhere or anything?" she asked, clearly not about to let this go until she was absolutely sure the girl was fine. "You're lucky that's grass and not sand, sand can give rather nasty scrapes if you aren't careful and much as it seems unlikely..."
"Chatot! Chatot!" the Chatot seemed to have finally caught up to its trainer, giving the woman an indignant peck on the head as it landed before ruffling its feathers, clearly not very amused that it had been 'dropped'. Unfortunately, this action received an annoyed swat from the teal-haired aide which sent him toppling again.
"Anyway... um... my name's Lillian Carbunkle, aide to the renowned Professor Aspen. She's currently off running amok somewhere as usual... feel free to call me Lily. And this pest," she sent an accusing glance at the dazed Chatot that was staggering about beside her. "Is my Chatot, Song..."
She glanced back at the girl, a slight smile on her lips. "Anyway, what brings you to Konika in such a rush?" [/blockquote]
