When adopting certain lower-leveled Pokemon, there will be no universal regulations in place in terms of how high the average level of your team is. As long as you have a starter, you can adopt, however, higher-leveled Pokemon will require a higher team average to ensure you can handle the Pokemon you are receiving. Certain Pokemon may also possess additional individual requirements, so make sure you meet these before trying to adopt.HAVE YOU SEARCHED THE LOST-AND-FOUND
Located directly in the center of Trainer Square resides a rather large, well-built structure. Steps lead up to its double doors which open into a large lobby. Around the area many trainers can be seen waiting, talking, and negotiating with the resident employees about adoptions or, unfortunately, abandonment.
The adoption centre was open a fair while ago as a refuge for Pokémon that were heartlessly left by their trainers to fend for themselves in the harsh wilds. Many of the Pokémon here were rescued and then nursed to health in order to be in the best condition they can be to get adopted by another, more caring trainer. However, this is also a safe place for trainers to leave their Pokémon if they are no longer wanted, that way these Pokémon can be sure to be well cared for until another individual wishes to obtain them.
However, before you even think about searching out an employee for their aide perhaps you should direct your attention to large notice posted up just past the entryway. It would be unfortunate if you ran into some difficulty just because you failed to take note of the building's regulations.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ADOPTION
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adoption is the purpose the adoption centre was created for! However, like everywhere else, there is a certain protocol that is required to be followed. Most of the staff want to ensure the Pokemon they have under their temporary care all go to good homes.
II. Please do not abandon a Pokémon as soon as you receive it. As of yet this has not been a problem, however, the adoption center will put in measures to prevent such procedures if they are found to be necessary. Generally, however, you can guarantee that any money you get from abandoning a Pokemon will be less than what it costs to adopt it.
III. Only three Pokémon may be adopted per month. This is to ensure we get varied adopters and a more likely chance that our Pokémon will be cared for at a full extent, after all, you will only be able to adopt Pokémon that you truly wish to care for.[/ul]

ABANDONMENT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In addition, the adoption centre also offers a safe location for trainers to abandon their unwanted Pokemon rather than leaving them to fend for themselves in the wild after they have grown dependent on human contact. However, like adopting, abandoning also has some additional notices.
II. You may only abandon three Pokémon per month. This is to prevent overcrowding of our adoption center and ensures that Pokémon that are abandoned have enough supplies and space to live happily during their time here.[/ul]

ADDITIONAL NOTES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are some instances when a member may go unactive or, for some reason, they choose to delete their account or simply wish to no longer possess a character. If this occurs, then their Pokémon will be transferred to the adoption centre in order to find a loving trainer. Please remember that! You will not be able to get those Pokémon back if that occurs unless the person who adopted it wishes to trade it back!
Also, all transactions with the adoption center should be done in a separate thread. Try to keep just one thread per member, that way things remain nice and organized.[/blockquote]
