no, jaykay~ i'm actually not that suuuuuuper excited for it. just really excited. haha. i kind of feel like they're releasing it too soon and that another generation of pokemon is definitely not necessary. pf. buuut. they are making it, and it's pointless to complain.

so what does everyone think? i love the legendary designs, though i can already tell that they're going for a yin/yang type of deal. xD a little cliche'd, but that's okay~ c8 and it looks like they're aiming at a higher age-group than the other games, giving it a more mature feel, which is osm, seeing as how the generation that grew up with pokemon are now, well, teens, not nine year olds. xD they have been saying that it's the "revolution for pokemon" which is excitine. owo

the starters were kind of disappointing at first, but i think the water starter's grown on me. ;w; which is weird, because i usually looove fire starters, but the pig's definitely not one of my favorites. SO UNCOOOL. ;A;

aaand the main characters look more older, which is cool. c8 but the girl's shorts bother me. oh well, her CONFIDENT STANCE makes up for it.

To be perfectly honest, I think the majority of the new Pokemon are really, really, really ugly xD

Like, seriously - a coffin with ghost arms? Can't they do any better than that? And another Bidoof, great. I just think the standard of the Pokemon has fallen SO FAR from Generation 4. I'll probably still buy the game, but...I'm not looking forwards to it nearly as much as I was Diamond/Pearl P; Oh, and triple battles sound ridiculously complicated.

I see that there trying something new with Pokemon Black/White{Black FTW}, but it's probably going to end up the same as the other pokemon games. Honestly, I'm getting a little bit tired of the same battling system, the same storyline, etc. I want a new Pokemon game, something where I can maybe control my pokemon while it's battling to dodge and attack and whatnot. I want an evil Team _____ that isn't always just trying to rule over the new region. Something suprising, different and new. They're obviously starting to run out of ideas as well with the new pokemon. Some of them just look...odd.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to this game, cause I see their trying to refresh the same old Pokemon formula. I'm just hoping that they succeed.

no i know that some of the pokemon are not as osm. ;~; like the gears. wtf. but some of them are as;jdfkljajosm. owo like the chinchilla. and the deeeer and kibago. heeeeee. idk, i just don't see the need/point in complaining or talking about how weird/lame the new pokemon are when some of the "older" pokemon are kind of awkward. like voltorb wut. and they're managing to funnel out enough ideas for 500+ pokemon, so you can't blame 'em for getting a little cheesy with them.

apparently the triple battles have some weird thing where you only control the middle pokemon. or something. idk, serebii had something about it. xD

oh and the game graphics look osm, though they remind me of animal crossing. haha. ouo

my turn! the pokemon are sorta, strange? gears and ghost, skeleton bunnies? tad weird if you ask me. and the triple battles are sorta confusing, the season changes and version differences are cool though and i don't think i like the music shows. the legends feel that they are building off dialga and palkia. probably going to some weird giratina copy too. and thats about it for now.

500+. Not going to be able to catch them all. I don't like the new 3D graphics much, though. >3> I liked the 2D and the sprites look weird from that angle. Honestly, I'm just waiting for a Gen3 remake. <33 Still, some of the 'mons look promising. They should start working on MMORPGs, those would be cool, maybe.

I like the fire-type starter. It looks like a cute baby pig. I might keep it unevolved if it turns out ugly because baby animals are always aaaaaaaaaaa ♥ and the idea of having a baby pig to take care of it adorable.

Twenty years from now we'll all be talking about virtual reality Pokémon games, deal, maybe.

I'll be on the Gen3 games first. I started with Ruby and Sapphire - HGSS were new to me~ ♪ Speaking of which, I still need to drown Red, but aaaaa. >_>

I just plan on picking whichever game has a Teddiursa. I need one. I usually try to get as many 'monz as I can but lazy, orz. I'm almost done getting a 'mon from every evolution chain in Diamond. Can't get anything from the GB insert slots, though, since I don't have any game that's not bootleg.

Feh, the pig just looks so cute. But Mijumaru reminds me of these otters I saw at the zoo once, and aaaaaaaa, so adorable. The moment people started watching they started putting on a show~ ♪. If I ever get two of the Gen5 games, I will make Mijumaru/evos a contest 'mon, and have him/her put super adorable shows.

honestly i think that even though all of the pokemon look dang ridiculous, i like that (SHOCK SURPRISE), and these games will be a lot of fun. i've yet to play a pokemon game i didn't like, so... whatev!

my favorite so far is probably munna. that thing is cute as a goddamn button. i really like most of the pokemon, honestly. gear is pretty much the only exception :V hopefully it'll grow on me, but i don't like that it's just a weirder version of magnemite.

I'm going to be perfectly honest, a lot of these new Pokemon are probably not going to be available in Lanorae just because of how off the wall they are xD Like, the gears will probably be found (because, yaknow, they're like a steampunk icon) as well as the animals, but, like, that thing that looks like some parody of a goth girl? Wut? xD

I am liking the chinchilla and eagle though =U Though I'm sort of partial to the grass or water starters. I just don't like pigs. Same way I just don't like monkeys, and I normally love fire starters (lol, and look, gen four had a monkey, gen five has a pig).

I will admit that the legends are rather cool though, and I think that mating our dark dragon legend Shadegra with that black dragon legend they have would make little babies of awesomness. And I am liking the fact it's geared towards a more mature audience, though I'm hoping the story is a bit more immersive. Like the plot line for Colosseum was awesome for a Pokemon game, but all the main-stream handhelds are basically "stop evil team, gather gym badges".

And really, I'm actually fairly interested to see what in the world they're doing with the legendaries. After all, they basically did everything at this point, as this video will kindly point out for me (please note there is a bad word at the end, so don't go blaring the sound)

And I correct that, teh real generation that grew up with Pokemon (at least the ones that were ten when the first ever thing came out, me included) are on their twenties now -- so I'm glad for the slightly more mature thing around.

Though the tripple battles threw me off, I can see the competitive metagame for Pokemon throwing shit into their fans when they try to make balanced Pokemon Tiers for that shit. XDD

Still, it's new (and very revolutionary) so looking forwards to it.

I love the new girl, and their clothing seems fine to me -- all girls seem to have extremely revealing clothing anyways, at least the main characters and stuff. *points to Blue's very short red skirt, Mae's hotpants, Dawn's also very short pink skirt/dress thing*

I think Crystal was the only one with nothing too short, though she still had the hot pants I think. And gen V girl's confidence stance is win -- as well as her little "hair boobs," as everyone in the web is calling them.

a WHOLE BUNCH of new pokemon have been shown with art, had their names revealed, and had a little info on them released. i like basically all of them and this is exciting, but the real highlight of it all is AFRO BULL. SERIOUSLY. AFRO BULL. SEE IT IN ALL OF ITS GLORY. AFRO BULL. i am so getting one and loving it for-freakin'-ever.
