Though it'd been almost half a year or so since he had been outargued to Rosa, Enoch hadn't really been able to train. The girl had to rush out of Lanorae soon after acquiring him to attend some high society events she could not miss, and Enoch had been taken along to the ride. The Iglora had been thankful, from the first time he laid eyes on Rosa he knew she was the person meant to be his trainer. The fact that she had kept him and had him tag along with her only proved that their meeting was meant to be -- at least in the Iglora's mind.
<Dusan was always telling stories about this place from rumors he'd heard... When not scaring us to death, that is.>
Carefully the Iglora trotted closer to the sand and dirt covered pit, looking around cautiously as he went. Supposedly a Marowak ran this place, though he had yet to see the Pokemon. He wanted to battle and become stronger, to show off Rosa all the potential he had and make her proud. He'd live up to her expectation, and more. Still, it was really early in the morning, the sun was barely coming out -- perhaps it was too early to be here?
<Hello?>

Elda had been enjoying the extended period where Pokemon were simply not coming to the Pit. It was a nice break for the aging Marowak to actually be able to let her true age show for once rather than be forced to act as if she was at least a decade younger than she really was. She was old, that was all that could be said, she enjoyed her times of peace and quiet, though she wasn't stupid. She knew it wouldn't last forever.
One of her eyes flickered open as a voice alerted her to the presence of a new Pokemon in the Pit. From where she was resting in the cool shadows of a nearby rock she immediately identified the source to be that of one of the native Pokemon, an Iglora to be more precise. She raised a brow. Well, she supposed he was looking for a challenger.
She sighed, getting up by using her club as a temporary cane before she left her position, disappearing into the shadows. She'd watch to ensure all of her rules were abided by, but she really didn't feel like talking at the moment. Seeing the Iglora came alone, she figured he was looking to fight one of the regular Pokemon that offered themselves up as opponents when the time came. She'd fetch one of them.

<Hey! You! Lizard-boy, you want to fight?> a loud, somewhat overly cocky voice could suddenly be heard as a Machop jumped into view, already flexing the muscles in his powerful, compact body as he grinned mocking in Daemyn's direction. It seemed Elda had found the Iglora's opponent. <I'll give you a fight! Just see if you can keep up!> The Machop took a battle stance, gesturing with his hand for Daemyn to take the first move.

Maybe that Duskull had just been playing with him and pulling his tail... This place seemed deserted. The Iglora rumbled lowly on his throat, a sign of annoyance, as he thought about that possibility. If Dusan had made him waste valuable time... Oh, that Duskull was gonna get it. And good. The Iglora had been about to turn and leave when a voice reached his ears. He turned, spotting the Machop now adopt a fighting stance, and signaling for him to come at it.
<Well, aren't you the cocky type?>
He snorted lightly, the Iglora really wasn't fond of this kind of personality -- but at least he'd get what he wanted. A battle, to grow stronger and better. He bared his teeth at the fighting type Pokemon, clearly displeased by the Machop's choice of a nickname. His jaws opened wide, unleashing a loud Growl to both signal the start of the battle as well as lower his foe's attack strength.
<I'll keep up just fine, you just worry yourself about not falling too far behind!>
With that he rushed forward, strong hind legs giving the Iglora a strong impulse as he quickly closed the gap between him and his opponent. Once closer he jumped to the air, a feat very easy for the creature due to his muscle covered legs, before attempting to land down and on the Machop -- using his long and dangerous claws of his feet to deal a Scratch attack.
Maybe others of his kind would have tried to scratch with those stubby arms they had, but not Enoch. Oh no, those stubby arms and small claws couldn't possibly inflict as much damage as he might want -- and though his method might be far more difficult and less accurate, the Iglora was willing to give it a try. If he managed to perfect this technique it just might be well worth it -- and pay off in the long run.

OOC:// Please delete since Rosa does not exist anymore in Lanorae -- therefor neither does Enoch.
