SOLO CHALLENGE
What it is: The Diamond/Pearl/Platinum Solo Challenge is just a fun little thing to do if you're either bored or have homework and trying to trick yourself that you don't. But what is it, you still haven't told us October, you've just told us that it's fun, and now you're just taking up space to make this first post look like it's actually got depth to it by pretending to be somebody complaining about you. Oh okay I'll start now then. The Solo Challenge means you can pick any Pokémon you want and have it on your team for the whole game. But wait, there's a catch. That's the only Pokémon you get *Law & Order style dun dun, then Horatio putting on his sunglasses in CSI: Miami and saying a lame punchline*. The aim is to get through the entire game only using one Pokémon. The challenge ends when you defeat Cynthia at the end of the Elite Four.
Rules:
- You can only use one Pokémon to battle, however you can have as many HM Slaves as you want/need.
- It's optional whether you evolve your Pokémon or not.
- You may use your starter until you get your solo runner.
- You may trade an egg of a Pokémon and hatch it in game.
- You must have your Pokémon by the time you get to Floaroma.
- No hacking and/or cheating.
- During Gym/League battles, you cannot bring your HM Slaves in with you. This means no revives.
- Have fun (not really a rule but if you're not having fun nobody's going to go "hey that person played the whole of Pokémon with one guy, how cool" so you can quit if it's boring you).
