Around Konika Village, it was just another ordinary day - it seemed. People walking by and going about their buisness: perhaps they were shopping. Perhaps they had someplace to go. Either way, the flow of people looked normal: exept for one lone figure whom had just staggered into the town in a flurry of un-coordinated movements. The figure fell over his own feet and tripped to the ground, groaning as he attempted to pry himself up off the concrete. It was as if this particular person did not know how to control his own body properly - it made him look out of place. As if he was something else stuck in a human world. Which in fact, he was: the twenty-year old had once been a pok'emon. How he'd turned into a human was still unclear to him as was his past as a pok'emon: the only thing that he remembered was that he had once been a Banette, and his name. Sassel Tilo. Of course, if folks were staring at the odd man for being so strange-looking and out of place, Sassel paid no attention to it - pulling himself up onto unsteady feet and re-adjusting the sunglasses the police station from before had been so kind to lend him before looking around the town.
This place: that girl Tila had said that if he wanted to become a trainer and quite possibly have a better chance of finding out his own forgotten past, this was the town he had to go to. It was the only place with a lab nearby, according to the girl. Still: though Sassel knew full well that becomming a trainer was the best course of action if he wanted to try and find his memories, he couldn't help but feel weird. As a pok'emon himself - did he have any right to be telling other pok'emon what to do now that he was human? He really didn't think so - but then again, he felt cheerful in the fact that a starter would be smart enough to take care of their own buisness in battles, and he could chip in if they really needed assistance, right? Starters were supposed to be really smart, after all. As long as he just gave his new friend freedom - then he wouldn't BE like those authority figures that thought they could boss everyone around that he hated so much. At least, that was what he thought. This aside, Sassel looked around the town: he had no clue where humans 'got' their starters from, honestly.
Gosh, he wished there was an information center around here or something. He had no idea where to go, no clue as to what to DO. Looking around, he spied an offical-looking building nearby (unknowing of the fact that it actually was the lab) he assumed it was an information center. Ah, he could ask THERE where people got there starters from! How ingenious! This in mind, Sassel headed for the said building, almost tripping over his own legs several times as he went there - and soon was at the front of he building. Sassel looked at the weird wodden-thingy in the middle of the building (the double doors) wondering what it was. Was he supposed to go through this or what? It looked pretty solid - he doubted that humans could float through wood like ghosts could. But: he'd come too far to be dissauded now! Sassel closed his eyes and walked towards the wooden object, reaching out a spindly-fingered hand to touch it - and much to his surprise, the panel slid to the side when his weight was on it. The yellow-haired human blinked in a mixture of awe and confusion as he walked past the now clear entry-way into the building: human technology was so CONFUSING! It'd probably take him ages to learn how to figure it all out...
But anyway. Now that he was inside this information center, he could ask for help. Looking around, Sassel called out, saying slightly hesitantly (still not quite used to being able to be understood by humans and speaking their language just yet), "Helloooo? Anyone here?" After all, he couldn't ask where to get starters from if nobody was here to talk to (that and he didn't think you were SUPPOSED to talk to yourself if you were a human. Other humans didn't like that for some wacked-out reason, at least that had been his impression from when he'd met Tila...)
(Out of character note: Sorry if it seemed like I was powerplaying the people walking by, but I was just trying to be poetic. If that's not okay, just let me know and i'll edit it. ^^)
