Ok, would it be aloud for a character to run into a wild pokemon he/she had befriended as a young child that he/she had promised to return for? I'm asking this out of interest and curiosity.Because my character, Kiyoshi made a promise to a wild Vulpix she had befriended as a young kid to return for her and then go on adventures together(once she got her starter of coarse).

I'd say probably yes but only if the Vulpix is in the route that it usually appears in, like you wouldn't find it in the first route because it doesn't usually appear there. However I'm not in any position to say this - I'm not staff, but that's generally how it happens. Buutttt, maybe if you ask nicely the mods might do something, but don't count on it - assume that you won't be able to so you won't be disappointed if they say no.

October is correct, it is possible to run into a wild Pokemon you befriended in the past as long as it's on the correct route. It wouldn't really be fair to anyone else if we were to go and make it appear instantly, and from what I can tell you're talking about a Vulpix that's normal coloured, so that heightens your chances because you won't have to worry about a mod having to keep rolling a shiny event encounter xD Which there's like a 1:50 chance of seeing a shiny, so it would probably be a while.
Though I will be interested in knowing how said Vulpix got over to the Lanorae region xD
Also, you need to fix your link that your little picture there. It says the thread doesn't exist D= I'm assuming that's a link to your profile, meaning it was probably moved to a sub-board and therefore doesn't have the correct link anymore. [/blockquote]

Ok, thanks. And yeah, it is a normal everyday female Vulpix.And I took a look at the Pokemon locations(very handy by the way, well done! :3 ) and Vulpix can be found in in that forest after Purity Valley. Again, thanks for clearing that up!

...It can? D= That's a mistake then on my part, as the first area they're supposed to be found is Ashen Pass. Oops lD;
Edit: I took a look, and it says the only V Pokemon that can be found anywhere is Vileplume. Vulpix' location hasn't been officially registered seeing we haven't finished redoing it's area.
