The blond girl looked around the prairie, the long blades of grass waving peacefully as the ocean breeze drifted through them. Her gaze was directed to the path, composed of extremely compacted dirt and nothing more. A slight frown appeared on her features at the thought, the fifteen year old sighing as she searched through her white and pink leather purse/bag.
"Could they not place a little bit of concrete around here to make it easier to travel? My boots will get all dirty now!"
Slender and frail looking fingers returned from her purse, clutching a white and pink device that she soon flipped open -- her cellphone. A few shots were taken from different angles, before the pictures were forward to her father over in Sinnoh. His her free hand she touched the odd colored 'Ball latched onto a silver necklace, releasing the grass starter inside.
"Iglo? Iglora, ra!" "Well, you certainly are the enthusiastic one..." "Igg! Iglora!" "Come along, you. It is getting late, and I am not interested in spending a night out here among the grass." "Iglo!" "Mmm... Enoch should be a proper name for you. No Pokémon of mine is going to be named something as stupid as 'Whistler,' that I can guarantee it."
She didn't even needed to speak as she resumed walking, a simple flick of her fingers were more than enough indication for her Iglora, who immediately followed besides his trainer, careful to stay a foot or so behind her. Rosey was the leader, and so she was given by default the honor of leading. Admiration shone brightly in the Iglora's eyes as he continued to follow -- no matter what Wade might had thought, it seemed this Iglora thought he had found the perfect human to be his trainer.
Rosa María Blanche.
She suddenly stopped, remembering the gifts she had acquired from her Father. After receiving Enoch she had to leave Lanorae for a few months to participate in some important high society activities, before being returned. Her father had gotten her a Halloween gift, along with an Eater one he had been unable to give her before, since she had left for Lanorae. Rummaging her side bag she got out the two other Poke'Balls, bright red and white and quite contrasting compared to the ones she'd been given at the lab -- all gray and stuff.
In a flash of light both Pokemons were immediately released, the Buneary squealing as he saw all the dirt around and hoping into the girl's arms, while the Duskull drifted about quietly for once -- grimacing at the large amount of light. Honestly, he much preferred night time.
"Duskull..." "No whining, Dusan, you need to train to get stronger -- just like Daemyn." "Bun! Buneary!" "And do not think you are out of the woods, Toffee, you too need to train." "Bune?! Bun bun, buneary!!" "No buts, Toffee, or I will not comb your fur and give you toffee snacks." "Buuuuun... Bune..."
Unwillingly the Buneary agreed -- his love for the caffe colored sweets was much too great for him to disagree. He detested battling, but he loved those snacks (and the constant grooming), and he wasn't about to lose that just because he refused to get physical and dirty. After all, Rosa was the best person he had ever met when it came to taking care of his fur -- she always left him so clean, shiny and smooth. Behind him the Duskull chuckled faintly, though he still wasn't fully pleased to be out in the sunshine... Still, it did beat being cramped up in a Poke'Ball.
The Iglora snorted, glaring at the Duskull before passing him and taking a position besides Rosa. She was his trainer first, and the Duskull better not forget it. Unknown to Rosa he also glared at Toffee, though the Buneary stuck his tongue right back at him as he cuddled further in the girl's arms. Toffee knew Enoch always got jealous when he claimed his place in Rosa's arms, and the bunny loved to taunt the Iglora every chance he could.
"Unfortunately I think we will have to be in this route for a while guys, I want you to become strong enough to take on Gym challenges as well -- even if out main objectives are contests. After all, if I do both with flying colors I'll definitely be the envy of all the big tycoons close to daddy, and they'll be so shameful that not even their sons can compare to me."
A smirk was on her dainty lips as the girl imagined it, flaring with pride and ego. And so their first steps begun, the group heading further down the High Prairie.
