『‹·ᴘεяѕσиαℓɩтч·›』⇨Kind-Hearted___
I've been called "kind", "generous", and "thoughtful" a vast number of times; by friends, by family, by my school peers, and even by the occasional stranger. I do not like to think of myself as particularly nice, because I think everyone should be nice to one another; rather, it is others who choose to shun kindness from their daily routine. But I do purposely go out of my way to help others if they truly need it; I cannot simply sit and see a homeless child starve, nor can I just watch as someone abuses some poor Pokémon. I am "that guy", the one who says something in a crowd of silent onlookers as some poor child, person, or Pokémon is beat. I will interfere, I will help the victim, I will grab you and pin you to the ground before you even know what's happened. No one deserves to be beaten, abused, neglected, or anything of that variety.
⇨Humble________
Having grown up as the runt of a litter of five children, I know my place as the fifth child; I have always been taught humility, patience, and to understand that it is my birthright to come after my brothers and sister. And I have always been perfectly alright with that, because I have never wanted much. I do not ask my parents for things that I do not need, so if I do ever ask them for anything, they typically have no problem getting it for me. But I have never needed much; ever since I was born, I was handed down all sorts of things. And I was grateful for each and every thing. Well, I could have done without Will's "magazines", but he got the blame when mother found them.
⇨Enthusiastic______
I honestly believe that as long as I put my entire effort towards something, I can do it right, and can become quite skilled at whatever it is I'm doing. At first, I didn't really want to learn Taekwondo; it was, perhaps, one of the only things I ever complained about having to do as a child. But soon after I realized that mother and father would not have spent their valuable money for me to learn it did they not think I would put it to good use. This revelation came to me, suddenly, and ever since, I have given everything my entire energy, even if I did not particularly want to do it. Now, I believe that as long as I try my hardest, everything will work out. And I plan to put this to practice in raising Pokémon.
『‹·нıѕтσяч·›』I was the last child born in a family household of ten: five children, my parents, my grandparents, and my uncle. Money had always been tight for members of my family, so my parents, grandparents, and my mother's older brother all decided to live together on a joint income. It worked really well; not only did the have more than enough money after expenses, but we lived a fairly privileged life.
My oldest brother was the first-born--William, we all call him Will. Then came Gina, the only girl. Then there was Mikael and Gabe, the twins, whom my parents named after some Christian religious figures because of my uncle's desires. Then, finally, there was me.
While I wasn't like most children in regards that I seldom got more than hand-me-downs, I enjoyed my life. Early on my parents signed me up for Taekwondo; for awhile I didn't enjoy it, but I learned a valuable lesson, and suddenly realized that it wasn't actually that bad. I was especially grateful for it coming into High School; it helped me keep in shape, and was a great stress reliever. When I became a vegetarian, it was a bit hard to keep up at first until I started taking vitamins and protein supplements, and I actually lost a lot of weight in that short interval of time. Ever since then, my body has stayed relatively thin and hasn't really "beef up"; my muscles don't really form thickly or anything like that. They never did, but they had been a bit more prevalent before that initial incident. But I'm glad; I'm quite happy with my body the way it is, thanks. I don't think I want six-packs or guns or anything.
I followed in the footsteps of my oldest brother, Will, and took my studies extremely seriously. Like him, I managed to skip a grade in Elementary school, and was promoted to second-year of high school based on not only a perfect entrance exam, but a passing grade on a standard first-year final exam; it wasn't a perfect mark, but it was a C, and they said as long as I studied very hard, I could go straight into a second-year class. This pleased my parents to no end and, also, caused me to graduate quite early. In fact, I graduated with my twin brothers, whom were two years older than I. I was so proud that day, and I could tell that the rest of my family was, as well.
My family had never really been all that into Pokémon. Sure, they were a strong part of my school studies, and Gina had a couple as pets--a Ratatta named "Luxy" and a Noctowl named "Mic". But they were never an integral part of our life, save for the time Luxy, when he first arrived, nearly got abolished when he chewed up the TV's wire. So when I decided one day that I thought I might like to try out training, my family was fairly surprised. They encouraged it, though; it was something they knew I could be good at, and at the same time it wasn't something too important, and that was good to them because they didn't want me to ever get too egocentric and ever challenge any of my older siblings' authority. I then decided to leave the region, and while this upset most of them--Will was quite excited for me, though he'd miss his "baby" brother--they encouraged me anyway.
So I left--and, well... I feel this is the start of a good life.
