A pair of silhouettes stood at the beginning of Route 1. The first one was short in the shape of a lizard and kept flicking its tongue out every so often. This was a Kecleon named Morph. The next silhouette was none other than the Kecleon's trainer, Conor Fitz.
Not much has happened since the pair had left Konika Village. The only thing of major importance that had happened was that Conor received a gift from his parents. After leaving the lab, a large shadow flew over Conor, and before he knew it, a Pokeball with a note attached had dropped from the sky and hit him in the head. Reading the note, Conor found out that this Pokeball was a going-away gift from his parents. They had given him a Totodile.
Looking down at the Kecleon at his side, Conor said, "Well, Morph. Here we are, Route One, the High Prairie. Come on, let's find out what lies in wait for us here on this route." The Kecleon nodded, and the pair started the trek down the path.
~~Figured I would mention how my character got his Totodile, my birthday gift from Arya~~

The sun bore down on the pair as they journeyed onward. With each step, the ground squished with mud from the recent drizzle. A few dark clouds loomed in the distance, as if to still threaten others of wet weather - though it was doubtful more would fall on this particular route. There were only blue skies ahead for this trainer and his Kecleon.
Taking advantage of the rain, a rarity in these areas, a Pidgey suddenly popped out from the grass. She hopped along the dirt path ahead of Conor, unaware that she had an audience as she searched for a meal. After all, the bugs should be coming up out of the mud, and she had to pay attention and snatch them up quickly if she wanted to eat well tonight! As a breeze blew past gently, her brown and tan feathers were ruffled - and the winds of a potential battle were in the air.
